I am refinancing my home and was looking for the best rate. I reached out to a company called XXXX XXXX and spoke to someone named XXXX XXXX. I told her I had been talking to XXXX and they had pulled my credit score on XX/XX/2021 so I DIDN'T want XXXX to pull my score if it was going to be considered another hard inquiry. She told me it would not impact my score. XXXX sent me information from the CFPB website that says you have a 45 day window when it comes to mortgages inquiries. I told her she could pull the report but that was because I was under the impression it would NOT count against me. I have written to all 3 credit agencies and they told me the window is 14 days. They have said they will not remove the inquiry. The inquiry I am disputing is from XX/XX/2021 XXXX XXXX lending via XXXX XXXX. I wrote to XXXX XXXX but the letter was returned saying they had moved with no forwarding address. I would like this hard inquiry removed my credit.
