I've had a Walmart account since XX/XX/XXXX prior to them selling to Capital One. I always paid them on time. I never had any issues. From one day to the next I noticed that they marked me 30 days late on my account. They changed their payment address and didn't notify me. I had no way of knowing about the change or where to send my payments. I called and disputed the late and they said they would look into it but nothing has been done. It doesn't seem fair to punish me as a consumer for making my payments as I always did. If they had notified me of the change I would have not had any issues making this payment. Now, because of their negligence, I have a 30 day late on my credit which dropped my fico score immensely and I may possibly lose my home if I do not get this corrected for my loan. Please help me get this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you.
