I temporarily relocated to a new area, but I rented my house to a tenant. I did not see a need for continuing services for a home alarm since the new tenant did not have any interest in having nor paying for it. I called the center ( XXXX ) and indicated so. I was forwarded documents to signed, and the gentleman I spoke to indicated he would send me additional documents to look at and sign them if decided to continue services at a lower premium; said documents were never received by me. I'm truly baffled to find out there is an existing debt or account when no one attempted to get in touch with me nor even visited my house in order to reconnect/connect the services said company claims I own them money for. In the meantime said company is hurting my credit for a meager amount, which I will not pay based on principle. Please advise what are my options, I'm willing to pay even more to an attorney, but not XXXX because its claim is both invalid and without substance. In conclusion, I believe this is a frivolous claim by MOUNTAIN RUN SOLUTIONS on behalf of XXXX, a ridiculous attempt to survive in this new era where alarm systems are being replace by other available means.
