On XXXX XXXX Equifax added a collection account XXXX XXXX XXXX which was improperly and falsely handle. Upon further research, this account was transferred/sold and I am no longer responsible for this account and never have been.Under 15 U.S. Code 1681b- Permissible purpose of consumer reports. ( a ) In General Subject to subjection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. XXXX XXXX XXXX never gave Equifax any written consent to report anything on my consumer report, No consent is identity theft. They have violated my rights as a comsumer and Im requesting legal action to remove this account immediately. In Addition they have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well.
