This collection agency ( eastern account systems ) is attempting to collect a debt from XXXX, and reporting this debt to the three major credit reporting agencies. This debt originated in 2011 ( found out after contacting original creditor directly ) which is well past the statute of limitations for collection of a debt or reporting to credit reporting agencies. Fraud case opened as this is an identity theft case. Past collection agency XXXX and XXXX already deemed this debt unverifiable. After multiple disputes with CRA, somehow eastern account systems keeps reporting back a debt as verified even though it is 10 years old. Considering legal action against all parties if collection activity and reporting to CRAs does not stop immediately.
