Back in XXXX I purchased a car at a XXXX dealership, which was financed through Nissan Motors Acceptance Corporation ), at the end of XXXX the car was in an accident and it was declared a total loss by the insurance company, which made a large payment through NMAC to cover almost the entire balance of the loan, there was a difference of {$1200.00}, which was negotiated down to {$330.00} and that was supposed to close the account satisfactorily ( NMAC claims that they have no record of this settlement in their system ) Instead the account was declared a charge off and has been reported as such for 3 years, I have unsuccesfully tried to dispute it several times and every time the account gets updated from bad to worst ) I disputed it again a few days ago and it was updated showing the following : XXXX, XXXX payments late as of this month and since XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX, reporting On time and Late payments after XXXX, even that no payments were made after XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX, no payment history reported. This malicious reporting has been a challenge for me and my family to obtain a home loan, especially with the 41 payments late reported, and causing unnecessary stress and harm, as well as countless hours of trying to communicate with someone at NMAC to resolve this issue.
