On Tuesday XX/XX/, I had about 19 outstanding odds pre approvals for loans, about 7-9 of them were from onemainfinacial for up to XXXX. I applied for the loan due to outstanding odds and excellent pre-approval rates. When I applied, i immediately got an inquiry on XXXX, yet the rep told me they can't process my application " due to a county wide flood watch " " in my county New York, due to the hurricane, one main was not allowed to process loans in my area " I live in XXXX with credit score well over 700. I called back and asked how was that possible when I was referred to apply for a loan from a family member in area, they said send a tax return and said they can't approve it due to tax return. I told them that I along with millions of other Americans had minimal work during the Pandemic ( I still worked briefly and paid taxes which reflects on my return ) and they said that doesn't matter and it's understandable for me to complete the application ( I got a inquiry and was basically denied and discriminated against before my application fully processed ) .after denial I'm still at excellent approval odds for a loan double the amount. Clear lies, deception and unfair lending practices. I'm taking this level of discriminating and unfair lending practices to court to seek monetary damages.
