I issued a charge dispute with my bank and credit card company, TD Bank. The purchase was a washer/dryer set, purchased on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX Cost was {$1000.00}. The set was installed on XX/XX/XXXX and the dryer did not work. We tried multiple times to resolve with the seller and after the seller stopped returning our calls, and failed to show up for a repair, I filed a dispute with TD Bank on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told by TD Bank I would have a written notice of the dispute in 30 days, and resolution within 90 days. I have received neither. It is important to note I called TD Bank frequently to get updates since the dispute was filed. Since the 90 days was up, I called XX/XX/XXXX and asked to speak with a manager since there was no update and I was promised a return call. I received no return call. I called again XX/XX/XXXX and made the same request. I received a voicemail message on XX/XX/XXXX and I called back same day XX/XX/XXXX and was told the investigator had additional questions. The questions were repeats of the original dispute I filed. It seemed to be a delay tactic or they did not read the dispute records. TD Bank has failed to follow dispute settlement procedures provided by the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ) and I want resolution. Thank you.
