Strange withdrawals from my checking account which Capital One claims I did- I denied the claim that it was me withdrawing money from this ATM, to which they entrapped me with my own words in a dishonest way : They asked if I had misplaced my debit card, which to my knowledge has not left my wallet. They said that by that logic, because I did not misplace my wallet that my fraud claim is closed and that I am responsible for the charges. HOWEVER. Not only do I have zero recollection of having withdrawn from a strange ATM, the address of this mystery ATM is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a seemingly residential address. Upon looking up this address, it is assigned to an empty lot inside a residential neighborhood and there is not a single business entity that seems to have been at this address or using this address for any purposes. I've reported my findings to Capital One, but they just kept repeating the same thing regarding how they will not do anything other than close the claim and that I should file a police report if I am not happy about their decision ( which we all know does absolutely nothing ) Please help, and thank you for your time
