On XX/XX/2021, I discovered that Nationwide Recovery placed a debt in collection on my report after failing to notify or verify the debt. I did not know I owed this debt. I feel like they should have given me a chance to satisfy the debt prior to placing it as a collection on my credit report. Some weeks ago, some unknown person contacted me that I owed money. They did not include the nature of the debt, the name of the person the debt was owed from. I requested verification of the debt. I never received that verification. I am not sure whether that entity is the same as the entity that placed this collection but if it, I should have received verification of the debt to give me an opportunity prior to placing the collection on my credit reporr. This creditor failed to notify me that there was a balanced owed prior to placing this account for collection. I want verification that this account is valid with the date of service, what service was provided
