I became aware of this debt when attempting to apply for an apartment and was denied due to this debt because it shows bad rental history. I have disputed with XXXX numerous times ; XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. I sent an affidavit to the company ; National Credit Systems and have not heard back to them in regards to the account being removed from my credit. It is joint debt and I do not know the other 2 people on the account ; we do share the same last name. The creditor would not send me the apartment application or ID submitted so that I could let them know it is not my signature or ID provided. This collection is hindering my ability to get housing. I did not reside in these apartments. I do not even live in the state these apartments are located. I did go to school in XXXX XXXX from XXXX but I reside in student apartments called XXXX XXXX XXXX. Then I moved back home with my parents after XXXX in XXXX, XXXX after accepting a job as a XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I worked 3 years XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX.
