I wrote to the bureaus to dispute a debt that was not owed by me. One bureau deleted it from my credit report, but transunion continued to report it. I asked to verify debt, and send me proof. They did not respond to me, but instead updated my credit report saying it was verified and updated last reported activity and reporting the wrong amount owed from what the collection agency sent me.
