On XX/XX/21, I reached out to equifax by mail to inquire the method of verification for a chapter XXXX that was listed on my credit file with them according to XXXX XXXX and XXXX, I received a response by mail a little over 30 days later, informing me that no bankruptcy was listed in my credit file and that they would send me a copy of my credit report to show this. Once I received my report, a month later, I found that they were correct and due to seeing the given item was still reporting, I reached out to XXXX and was informed they can only report what equifax gives them. At this point, I don't know what how to resolve this situation.
