I had contacted Capital One regarding charges on my credit card that I did not authorize, I did not benefit from nor did I make those charges. Billing statement XX/XX/XXXX -XX/XX/XXXX shows a credit from Capital One for the unauthorized charges and or fraud charges. That credit is not reflected in the balance owed, since Capital One sold the account to XXXX XXXX XXXX around XX/XX/XXXX since I refuse to pay for charges I never authorized nor did I make. The balance that XXXX XXXX XXXX is {$2000.00}. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX asking them to remove the collection account that is being reported to the major credit bureaus as a collection. I explained in writing to XXXX XXXX XXXX that capital one sold them an account with unauthorized and or fraud charges on it. That the entire balance is of unauthorized and or fraud charges. XXXX XXXX XXXX has refused to delete the collection account from the credit bureaus.
