Hello, I have been trying to refinance my vehicle. The company I am dealing with is OPEN ROAD. XXXX XXXX The OpenRoad Lending Auto Loan Savings Team XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX / XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX fax ( XXXX ) XXXX text msg XXXX After an approval was offered to me, they starting adding extras which I denied. Extended coverage protection for mechanical issue and also Gap Insurance. After my denial of these products added to my loan, the pace of the transaction slowed down a lot. Even though I requested calls from the loan helper, XXXX, after I leave work, because I have a new job and I am currently going through an extensive amount of training and I am unable to hold on the phone for 30 minutes or more when I try to call this company to follow up on my loan. They did call once or twice but at times I was not available at the times they try to call me. In the meantime they are requesting additional contingencies to move forward. It has been 3 weeks or more since I applied. The loan helpers work on commission so I believe that the picture changed when I rejected their added products. I did have the chance to speak to a XXXX, 2 days ago but she tried to push the Extended coverage and the Gap insurance on my loan, once again I denied that and I got disconnected. The loan assistant XXXX XXXX keeps asking me to log into the application to add the co-borrower, ( which is fine ), I do understand that. However, the link he has sent twice does not work and I do not seem to be progressing much with this company. Now, a person in my family was able to refinance her car loan and she did recommend their services, it looks like in my case I did hit a brick wall head on. This company has rather poor customer service practices and I fear for my private information in the hands of this organization at this point.
