Contacted HPFC to obtain a payoff quote for the sell of my home. The payoff was good till XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$320000.00}. {$320000.00} principal, {$770.00} interest, {$220.00} PMI, and {$100.00} for recording fee. Funds received after would be an additional {$29.00} per day. on XXXX XXXX HPFC received the full amount prior to their XXXX cut off time for processing. Upon review of my account on XXXX XXXX I noticed a partial settlement in the amount of {$130.00}. When asked what it was for? HPFC said interest. This is not listed anywhere on the account so I asked for a 30 day statement which I received. The only interest on the payoff was {$770.00} which was remitted and received by HPFC. I asked HPFC to do an additional review numerous times and no one can tell me what the interest is for and why it was not disclosed in the payoff quote. I have asked HPFC for a refund/dispute of the amount as it was not disclosed with no satisfactory response from the company. I want a refund and want to know why I was erroneously billed. The refund was not applied to my escrow refund either which showed a balance in the amount of {$2500.00} of which HPFC claims to have refunded as of XXXX XXXX. I want to know why the {$130.00} is charged and why the company refuses to discloses the sources and choose to omit it.
