Consumer Narrative

I made a payment using PNC bank 's website for an auto loan. There is not option to pay an extra amount to the principal of the loan so I assumed any excess amount would be applied to the principal. I later checked my account and the excess amount was applied as a regular payment. I contacted customer service and they said that they would correct the problem. I also asked if there was any way to make additional payments to the loan. They said no, that I would have to contact customer service each time I wanted to make a principal payment online.
