This complaint is against the credit reporting bureaus XXXX and Equifax. I only have two open accounts which I have been progressively paying off all of my outstanding debt and have been receiving either no score change, too sharp of a decline in score, or too little of an increase in score. I have attached evidence obtained from XXXX XXXX to support my claim. In particular, there has been one recent instance with Equifax, whereby my open credit card account balance was duplicated on my report, such that it appeared that I had XXXX XXXX XXXX accounts when I only have one open account, and when Equifax finally removed the account from my report, I received a decrease in credit score. Throughout this year dating back to XX/XX/2021, the credit bureaus have either chosen to not administer a change in score, administered a score of only +1 or +2 pts, or rushed to administer a decrease in score that does not match the change in activity that is supposed to be the basis for the score change. I am hereby asking the CFPB to step in and confirm that my credit reports are being legitimately composed and updated by the credit bureaus XXXX and Equifax.
