Received a modification in XXXX/2021 and started falling behind as the payments increased to approximately XXXX from XXXX. I was foolish to have accepted the offer! I have tried 5 times a request of loss mitigation and have been offered a deed in lieu which I have not accepted. My grievance is that the mortgage was modified to an increased amount based on my existing salary which was lower than it is now. I now have a 2nd job and earning more and the company says I can not afford my home- then how did I qualify for the modification! They want my home!!! This company is not willing to work with consumers to stay in their homes. I have tried to catch up as much as I can paying almost {$17.00}, XXXX in an attempt to get caught up! Can you plead my case to this lender? Please help me! Thank you!
