For about 36 months, there was an incorrect reporting of a XXXX XXXX account of mine on my credit report. I had consistently attempted to have this information corrected. Each time I filed a complaint, the credit reporting agencies appeared to have sided with XXXX XXXX. After I filed a complaint against XXXX XXXX through the CFPB, the response received from XXXX XXXX response seems to to blame the credit reporting agencies for the incorrect reporting of my XXXX XXXX account. This inaccurate reporting of my XXXX XXXX account caused great harm to my credit score. This is part of the the statement from XXXX XXXX in their response to me on or about XX/XX/XXXX before their credit collector sued me in court and as such, caused me even more financial harm : " We have received multiple electronic disputes from you through the e-OSCAR electronic dispute portal. e-OSCAR is a web-based system that allows credit reporting agencies to respond to disputes. Data furnishers help the credit reporting agencies respond to disputes that are submitted through e-OSCAR. As a data furnisher, XXXX provided responses to each of your disputes directly to the credit reporting agencies through e-OSCAR. Upon receipt of your complaint, we completed another review of the account information displayed in your credit file for account XXXX found that updates are still required at XXXX, where the high credit/original amount and the charge-off amount are missing, and the payment history still does not match our system of record. At XXXX, this account is reflecting an incorrect closed date, which should be XX/XX/XXXX, the date of sale. At Experian, the payment history still shows no data for XXXX & XXXX XXXX.Therefore, we have requested that XXXX, XXXX and Experian make those updates. As a courtesy, XXXX will remove the information on account XXXX. Please allow 30-45 days for the updates and the removal of account XXXX to reflect in reporting ''.
