On XX/XX/2021, I disputed the accuracy of a bankruptcy placed on my Transunion credit file. I received a dispute response from TransUnion on XX/XX/2021 stating the bankruptcy was verified as accurate. I then contacted in writing, the United States Bankruptcy Court of XXXX Mississippi and XXXX XXXX since the agency was indicated in the results of my XXXX results. The USBK Court of XXXX Mississippi responded back and informed that the court did not report too, nor does it provide information to any credit reporting agency ( see attached correspondence ). I requested of XXXX XXXX to provide me with all credit reporting information including bankruptcies that they had in their system pertaining to me. XXXX XXXX responded back and informed that after they had searched their data system, they did not find any information pertaining to me in their database ( see attached correspondence ). After receiving the responses from USBK Court XXXX Mississippi and XXXX XXXX, I submitted a second dispute to all three credit bureaus ( TransUnion, XXXX, and XXXX ) by mail on XX/XX/2021 that included the correspondences that I received back from USBK Court XXXX Mississippi and XXXX XXXX. XXXX immediately removed the bankruptcy from my credit file. XXXX and TransUnion provided results on XX/XX/2021 that stated that the company reporting the item ( bankruptcy ) verified is as accurate but reopened a third dispute on XX/XX/2021. After I called XXXX on XXXXand explained that I had provided documentation that the company that was named on the phone ( XXXX XXXX ) had no information on me in their database system and could not have reported or verified the item ( bankruptcy ) as accurate so, XXXX open another dispute to reinvestigate the documentation that I provided and I am still awaiting the results from the third dispute. I called TransUnion on XX/XX/2021 and asked for the name of the company that verified the item as accurate and they stated that it was the USBK Court of XXXX Mississippi. I then informed that I had submitted documentation from the USBC XXXX Mississippi that the court and XXXX XXXX that stated that the Court did not report to or furnish public records to any credit reporting agency and XXXX XXXX did not have any data pertaining to me in their database. After which, I was informed that they would have to reinvestigate my dispute and the documents provide by opening a third dispute. On XX/XX/2021, I checked TransUnion website for any updates and the open dispute was no longer available for my viewing. I then called and was informed that a letter was placed in the mail to me on XX/XX/2021 the next day after the third dispute was filed. The agent read to me the content of the letter, which stated that my request was once again denied because the company reporting the item verified. There is no way that USBK Court of XXXX Mississippi verified the accuracy of the item because they do not report public records to the credit reporting agencies and XXXX XXXX had already informed me in writing that they did not have any information on me. Therefore, TransUnion has made an error in their investigation or they are lying which does not comply with the FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681 ), but yet, they refuse to delete the item from my credit file.
