I have not been late on my mortgage since XXXX. So, at the end of XXXX ( maybe XXXX ) I applied for a loan modification. They needed a particular document that I could not get until XX/XX/XXXX. So, in XX/XX/XXXX I applied again for the for the loan modification. It was approved. In XX/XX/XXXX ( i believe ) I began making the new loan modification trial payment. I always pay my mortgage the last week of the month prior. So mostly a week early. On XX/XX/XXXX when I went to make my XX/XX/XXXX trial payment I could not. At that time I was advised that my modification was denied because I was sent documents in XX/XX/XXXX and that I did not return the documents. These documents according to XXXX agent # XXXX, were the original docs that I had already submitted and returned notarized. I was told that the docs were sent via XXXX XXXX. I asked them to check the tracking because I never received any documents. Each time I spoke with XXXX agent # XXXX. She stated that she checked the tracking number and that it never left XXXX. I then asked if she could roll this up to her managers because I had been very careful to do everything that was asked of me. She told me that XXXX XXXX agent # XXXX was the one that needed to revised the decision. Again to no avail. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to XXXX again who told me that she spoke to her supervisor, XXXX XXXX. That XXXX XXXX was going to reach out to XXXX XXXX directly yo see why docs were resent that I had already signed and sent in. And to see why I was denied. Again no resolve. On XX/XX/XXXX I was then told that needed to complete another loan modification since that one was denied. However, I was never given a reason or any assistance. Then I received a late payment on my credit report. And I had to pay XXXX over {$16000.00} to get my account current because I was afraid they would take my home because I began getting nasty collection calls. Then to add even more insult. After I paid the $ XXXX they sold my account to another company.
