XXXX : I sent LCI an email asking if they could explain how they are verifying my bankruptcy and provided them with the courthouse letter, a letter from XXXX stating that XXXX verified the bankruptcy through the USBK court and I also asked for my consumer report. XXXX : LCI responded stating how they obtained the information from XXXX and how the information obtained is from public available bankruptcy records. XXXX : I sent them the bankruptcy court letter XX/XX/XXXX : Sent them another email stating how I haven't heard back from anyone XX/XX/XXXX : LCI responded via email stating how they obtained the information from public available court sources and how they use XXXX. From my own research, XXXX doesn't report full SSN 's so again how did LCI verify the bankruptcy ( they DID NOT ) XX/XX/XXXX : I sent an email to XXXX and XXXX Responded that they provide electronic access to case information from federal courts however they DO NOT contact consumer reporting and credit reporting agencies. XX/XX/XXXX : LCI responded asking me to provide further information about the alleged bankruptcy. XXXX : I replied stating that per the FCRA if I am asking for LCI to provide my consumer report and they are refusing to do so this goes against my rights. Per the FCRA if a consumer reporting agency is unable to verify my account within 30 days then they must delete the inaccurate information. Per FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( C ) you can not report information that I the consumer has told you is inaccurate. XX/XX/XXXX : LCI responded to a letter addressed to the incorrect client named XXXX stating how LCI has no obligations under FCRA section 611 and are only applicable to consumer reporting agencies From my own research LCI has about 5 cases where they paid undisclosed settlements to consumers after being accused of being in violation of the FDCPA & FCRA within the last 2 years and another case is currently pending. XX/XX/XXXX : I sent an email to LCI stating the person they addressed the letter to is incorrect. LCI responded same day stating please disregard the previous response with the same response they sent to the incorrect person. XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX I asked LCI to send me my Consumer report XX/XX/XXXX : LCI XXXX XXXX XXXX me an internal email about a mail merge with someone else contact information who was also trying to see how LCI verify bankruptcies. I responded to them on XX/XX/XXXX asking am I getting my consumer report or do I need to file a complaint to let everyone know that the company is sending the wrong personal documents to the incorrect consumers. They then tried to recall the email but it was too late. This company is sending employee 's personal information to the wrong consumer and violating consumer rights. They have yet to provide me with a consumer report it's been beyond 30 days. They have not provided their method of verification. Please review all the documents that LCI sent me and the entire XXXX email thread.
