National Credit Adjusters is reporting an open account for XXXX XXXX. This account is not an open account, and it is an old account that has exceeded the Missouri Statue of Limitations. National Credit Adjusters has also illegally re-aged this account. No matter how many times a delinquent account is transferred or sold from one debt collector to another, the date of first delinquency should not change. The DOFD ( date of first delinquency ) determines how long a negative account can remain on my credit report. The DOFD should be the date an account became 30 days late and no other payments were made. Therefore National Credit Adjusters has illegally reported this debt as open and also re-aged this account significantly.
