XXXX collection has an account from esurance that was taken out by my ex-husband with a vehicle he financed in my name. In our divorce settlement in XX/XX/2020 he was ordered to take responsibility of that debt and all that related to it. I do not XXXX, I am legally XXXX, he is the one that was in charge of whatever insurance he wanted to put on there. This is not my collection, I did not open this account- it was done online by him like everything else he did behind my back. If anything its my ex-husbands and it should go on his credit report. I even offered this company to pay them the full balance to remove this incorrect account collection on my credit report and they refused to remove it. That was me being considerate and now I have to get legal over a debt that doesnt belong to me for a lousy {$86.00} but it is the principal and the violation of my rights under the fair credit act. Every dispute I have filed they have taken over 45 days to respond and my lender/loan officer is upset. I have excellent credit without this collection.
