Contacted both XXXX and XXXX several times to dispute many duplicate credit inquiries ( 12 total ) from Capital One Auto Finance, Only ( 1 ) of these many inquiries were made outside of XX/XX/2020 and should be deleted for the reason of duplicate credit inquiry entries within a certain period of time. XXXX and XXXX are able to see all of these inquiries and dates but have refused to take immediate action to delete these entries but instead placing the burden on the individual disputing the item ( s ) to complete a burdensome process. Lenders can confirm current or previous credit requests for customers but instead contribute to lowering consumer credit report scores by fraudulently processing multiple credit inquiries. Credit bureaus should also provide consumers the right and a way to dispute inquiries within their credit report files such as other account dispute processes either online or over the telephone with a representative. Have also submitted complaints about XXXX and XXXX as well.
