I am the victim of identity theft. I became aware of the identity theft over 3 years ago when I was in the process of purchasing a new home. I discovered my personal information had been used illegally to purchase things in my name. I have made a police report for identity theft. I have frozen all of my accounts with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I have also added a statement to all 3 reports that I am the victim of identity theft. I have added a credit alert as well. I received an alert today from all 3 bureaus that my credit reports were flagged for collection for an account I never opened. I received a letter in the mail from a company named " Caine & Weiner '' for the amount of {$110.00} dollars with the original debtor being " XXXX ''. I reached out to Caine & Weiner and explained to the company that I was the victim of identity theft and that this was a fraudulent account. This call took place 2 months ago. And today I am shocked to see that this company still went along with adding a fraudulent account onto my reports. I called Caine & Weiner back this morning, to let them know again that this was a fraudulent account and I was going to make a report against their company because I have already communicated with this company in regards to this issue. I have already disputed this account with all 3 bureaus XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I have never had an account with XXXX.
