I am writing this to try and resolve an issue that is still appearing on my credit reports. I noticed a collection several months back on my credit reports and contacted Credit Bureau of America - " CBA '' - to reach a resolution. After a bit of back forth, I finally decided to go ahead and pay the collection with the stipulation that CBA would remove the collection FULLY from my credit reports. I only agreed to pay any amount because I felt this was the quickest way to get the collection removed from my reports. I was told that it would take 45-60 days for the collection to be FULLY removed from my credit reports. Flash forward six months and the collection is still reporting! I am requesting that CBA sticks to their word and requests the deletion of this collection from the three credit bureaus.
