On XX/XX/XXXX, I had filed a complaint with Wells Fargo Bank, due to a slew of charges that were taken out of my account, as my debit card was not in my physical possession. I have spoken to multiple agents and customer care representatives who have been absolutely no help in the process. Due to the nature of the charges that spanned across three weeks, I focused on the larger sums, which are as follows :XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX XXXX - XXXXXX/XX/XXXX : XXXX - XXXX XXXX - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXXXX/XX/XXXX - XXXX XXXX - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX - XXXX When given a decision, Wells Fargo Bank denied my claim and requested that I go directly to the merchants to issue a refund. Therefore, I went to each merchant through chat and phone, in which none could assist, as the charges were done in-store, with the exception of XXXX XXXX. I called Wells Fargo once more and told them that the merchants authorized a refund and the Wells Fargo agent informed me they can not issue the refund and in addition to this statement, I can not open a new claim disputing these transactions. The amount I have disputed is high and it's frustrating beyond all belief for a bank to have protection for its consumer, yet refuses to utilize it to protect someone from these actions. I have contacted each merchant again, and still the same response from both parties involved.
