On XX/XX/2021 I received an email about a new inquiry on my credit report from a company called Acima. About a month prior to that, I also had inquiries from XXXX and XXXX. I had not open new accounts with any of these companies. XXXX and XXXX were able to cancel the fraudulent accounts immediately and correct my credit. Acima has been able to cancel my account and report this as fraud to fix my credit. I have filed a police report and am now filing this in hope of getting Acima to close the account. The balance on the account appears to be {$4400.00}. When I initially found out about the account, I spoke to an Acima employee on the phone and was told it was obvious it was fraud due to i fake email address and bad address. Acima has been able to cancel the fraudulent account as of now.
