I deposited {$400.00} dollars in cash into my checking account using my debit card at a First Horizon ATM. The ATM malfunctioned and did not print a receipt or release my debt card. I went to the bank that following Monday and received my debit card, but I did not receive credit for the {$400.00} I deposited. I was told that there was no record of me depositing the funds ; however, the bank had possession of my debit card. I also asked to review the ATM security footage and was told that I was not allowed to see the recording. I made a dispute numerous times to no avail. I believe this ATM may be set up to keep cash deposits. There may be a scheme whereby the ATM freezes up when cash deposits of a certain amount are made. The ATM keeps the card and doesn't print a receipt. Then the card is returned and the customer is given the run around about the deposit.
