I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/2021 that my loan had been referred to their office from Fay Servicing , LLC for collection. The letter said I had the right to dispute their claim to collect within 30 days. I sent a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021 disputing their claim. XXXX XXXX XXXX are required to validate their claim after my dispute in writing, but they never sent any verification after they received my dispute letter. I haven't heard from XXXX XXXX XXXX after I received their initial letter dated XX/XX/2021. A sheriff showed up on my doorstep and proceeded to post a Notice of Trustee 's Sale today on XX/XX/2021. They have no right to auction my home and they are breaking the law. I am in the middle of a Loss Mitigation Option application with Fay Servicing. I submitted my application and am waiting for a list of my options from Fay Servicing, my loan servicer. I am currently receiving regular statements on my mortgage from Fay Servicing and this notice of selling my home at auction is a HUGE surprise and is not valid.
