I had listed a sofa for sale on XXXX XXXX, but ended up selling it off line to a used furniture dealer. Meanwhile, a prospective buyer, wanted to buy the sofa online, and I notified him that the sofa was no longer available. I never received XXXX XXXX from the buyer, and he received all of his payment back from XXXX. Now this AIC collection company is trying to collect what would have been owed IF there had been a sale, which there never was. XXXX spoof has been notified, and says my account is in good standing and that I owe nothing. This is obviously a scam and I have discovered many other people have also been scammed by this company.
