Experian says they investigated a bankruptcy that isnt mine thats on my credit report. They first stated months ago that they got the information from XXXX XXXX, once XXXX XXXX deleted the account they then sauced they conducted an investigation which is a lie. According to 15 usc 1681a- ( e ) The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. I want to know who experian spoke to that knows me personally. This is a direct violation of both the FDCPA and FRCA. My next step is to report this to my states attorney general.
