On Wednesday, XX/XX/2021, I met with Mr. XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, IL to test drive a vehicle. When I arrived Mr. XXXX said that I needed to fill out a form on his computer and supply them with a copy of my driver 's license in order to test drive the car. I asked him specifically, not to pull my credit report until I had test-driven the vehicle because I had pre-planned to drive the vehicle to an Auto Zone Store to get a free diagnostic on the car since I did not have a mechanic with me. He said he would not run my credit report until I decided I wanted the car, but unfortunately he did a hard inquiry on my credit report anyway without my consent. The documents attached are ( 1 ) a snapshot of the hard inquiry on my credit report and ( 2 ) the diagnostic report from the XXXX XXXX XXXX with the vehicle 's VIN # as proof that I test drove the car from their facility.
