BEWARE!!! I purchased a car from overland bond investment Corp ( XXXX IL ) in XXXX to start building my credit. But it has done everything but build my credit. Initially when I got the car they was reporting to 2 major credit bureaus now they only report to XXXX that was the beginning of the nightmare. Fast fwd to XXXX I found that the company had NOT reported my ON TIME payments to XXXX. When I reached out to them they got very upset and didnt take my concerns seriously. I disputed the inaccurate information with XXXX it was updated after 6 months of going back and forth having to prove my self. Fast fwd to Mid XXXX the pandemic hit I was effected by it and my job had dropped me down to part time/ the company humiliated me by making me submit that information just to reduce my car payment from {$230.00} bi-Wkly to {$130.00} a few months ago I was completely let go and couldnt go back to work do to personal injuries on top of Covid I still remained paying the agreement payment plan we made which was XXXX but when I noticed that hadnt been reporting to the credit bureau again for the SECOND time I reached out to the company they got very upset again they ignored numerous emails/calls. I have all my paper trial. When I disputed it with XXXX and the XXXX they got furious and updated my credit report saying Im delinquent which wasnt the agreement they was supposedly helping customers effected by Covid which I still currently am. Not only is it cruel to do this to a customer whos trying to stay honest I was jus trying to get my credit report updated because I take my credit serious I pay my bills on time. Its funny the company responded the same day when I reached out to the XXXX but never responded to personal emails or phone calls? And now all of a sudden because Im reporting your negligence they want to say Im behind on my note and its now effecting my credit score and worthiness which is negatively effecting my family I have XXXX small children and trying to make a living. I would like them to completely remove the account from my credit report. If I was behind on payment what company lets you owe over XXXX in back pay!? Why wasnt the alleged past due balance reported last year? Its clear your company is making false allegations because a customer does their research and found out youve been taking payments on a car thats wrote off and not reporting to the credit agency accurately! I still havent received a phone call from them! Horrible customer service. Zero benefits and on top of it they charged 3x the amount they should be allowed to! Their loan sharks taking advantage of tax paying citizens! I wouldnt recommend this car if you was XXXX standing in a blizzard
