Im unable to open a bank account anywhere even after paying off the debt that I did not owe. I called the branch that I had the account with and they blamed me! Nothing has been done. All of my information was stolen from me my freshman/sophomore year in college and was used to put fake checks into my account. Ive been trying for the past four years to get another bank account and or credit Union and it wont work. I need a bank account it is 2021 and this is out of hand. I feel lost and uninformed on what to do to fix this so that banks can stop denying me! I have a copy of my reports but I dont know what to do with the information.
