On XX/XX/XXXX I applied to refinance my VA home loan online with XXXX XXXX. I was given a " to do '' list of documents and other steps I had to make. All of these items were completed by XX/XX/XXXX. There were two items that are still pending review. Tax Returns, and the Mortgage Statement ( attached ). The details page of the account information listed an account ID, a loan number, and an estimated closing date of XX/XX/XXXX. ( attached ) this information has not changed as of XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX I emailed my loan officer to find out the situation. She did not email me back until XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. In the email she claimed to have reached out to me 2 months ago, about tax returns and average net income. If I had know this 2 months ago I could have looked somewhere else for a refinance, but since I had signed the initial loan estimate I felt like I had to wait for them. In bold letters it says " NOTE : DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM UNLESS YOU WISH TO PROCEED WITH THE LOAN APPLICATION COVERED BY THE LOAN ESTIMATE. IF YOU DO WISH TO PROCEED, PLEASE RETURN A SIGNED AND DATED COPY OF THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROCEED TO THE LOAN ORIGINATOR. '' I completely understand that they do not think I qualify for a loan from them. My issue is that they did not inform me of this until after several months of waiting, and I had to ask them what was happening.
