I financed my car through Volkswagen credit in XXXX in XXXX County Georgia. I am XXXX XXXX military and when I attempted to register my Vehicle in Texas ( new duty station ) I was told I needed a copy of my title. I contacted Volkswagen credit in XXXX requesting a copy of my title for registration. They told me that the title was a digital copy and would take 20 business days to process. I called back on the XXXX ( XXXX ) business day for an update. They told me that there was a hold on my account in Georgia that needed to be removed and that it would now take another 20 business days to receive the title. I called again on the XXXX business ( XXXX ) for an update. They stated that they had not requested the title to be sent yet and it would take another 20 business days. I called again on the XXXX business day ( XXXX ) and still no one has any idea where the title is. I confirmed with the Georgia DMV that they sent it to Volkswagen credit XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I have called VW credit every week since asking for an update and am either hung up on, told they will call me back ( they never do ), or asked to give them more time. Additionally, as previously stated I am XXXX XXXX military and just XXXX XXXX from XXXX to XXXX State. I was told I can not close out my travel voucher ( est. {$4000.00} in reimbursement ) until I am able to register my car ( which has been unregistered for months now ). Bottom line, I just need help. I have waited 4 months and spent at least 16 hours on the phone to get a copy of this title ... all just to register my vehicle. Please help.
