The company is Midland Credit Management. I paid this debt and have a letter sent from them stating it's paid and I have no further financial obligations for the debt. They are still reporting a collection. They violated the fair credit report act. They change the amount to XXXX and then back to original amount constantly. That violates the act. They removed 2 of the collections off my credit report but they are not removing one of the collections that is paid and part of the settlement letter. This company is fraudulent. I want the collection removed from my credit report because it is paid. XXXX and XXXX I have sent documentation showing proof it's paid but they don't remove it they tell me that they believe the agency over the consumer even with proof of payment.
