I paid off my mortgage in XX/XX/2021. The mortgage processing company ( Dovenmuehle Mortgage ) sent me a letter confirming that my mortgage had been paid in full. Recently I put my home ( a small mixed use building ) up for sale and discovered that the mortgage company had not sent this information to my municipality. For more than a month I pleaded with the mortgage company to send the information to the municipality. The buyer of my property had concerns about this issue and walked away. I now have a new buyer and again have worked for several weeks attempting to have the mortgage processing company submit the documents. I have been told repeatedly that all paperwork is complete and simply needs the signature of the VP at the mortgage company. Out of desperation I have even written to the CEO ( XXXX XXXX ) of the company, but have gotten nowhere.
