In XXXX of XXXX Pentagon Federal Credit Union ( PenFed ) reported my mortgage account as delinquent when it was in forbearance. On XX/XX/XXXX PenFed mailed me a letter stating that they submitted corrections to the credit bureaus. Well this does NOT include XXXX because as of XX/XX/XXXX my XXXX credit report is still shown as delinquent by PenFed. I filed a complaint about this with CFPB in XX/XX/XXXX ( Complaint ID XXXX ) and the response from PenFed was that I needed to wait at least 30 days to see an update with the credit bureaus. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was on the phone with them more than 30 minutes discussing this because they had NOT received any corrective information from PenFed. The only paperwork they received was the letter I submitted to them from Penfed dated XX/XX/XXXX. When XXXX contacted PenFed to verify the inaccurate information reported to them, PenFed told them that the INACCURATE information was CORRECT! In fact, on XX/XX/XXXX PenFed AGAIN reported my account as delinquent to XXXX. I have attached documents which verifies all of this. This misinformation has caused me to pay more for car insurance because of the negative status on my credit report and score. It has also caused me to be unable to refinance my mortgage due to the negative status on my credit report and score. This will be my last attempt to rectify this civilly as my next step will be filing a lawsuit.
