Became totally XXXX, lost my home and all income sources. I explained this to credit card companies, that I no longer have the means to pay the debt. Most said they would charge off account. Now between 20 & 25 yrs. later, I'm threatened with judgement & severely damaged credit rating, as of yesterday, from XXXX to XXXX, excellent too poor now. The original debt was $ 5K on the card, Now they want $ 12K. I explained to all debt collection agencies, I no longer have the financial means to pay the debt owed. The financial, physical & mental hardships have been insurmountable & only becoming worse as I age. I never asked to be here in this situation, but still being abused for something I never wanted or asked for. I want a counter claim for damages for abuse of the XXXX & elderly.
