I have repeatedly emailed Netcredit and sent a screenshot from Netcredits terms and conditions where it clearly states that if an account is created it can be closed. I created an online account before I was denied. I simply asked them to close the account and deactivate it. It has nothing with any database deletion So I have simply asked that the account created and tied to this email that I am emailing from be closed. That has NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY DATABASE! Not to mention, in the Equal Credit Opportunity Act only states that they have to keep my information in their database for 25 months, NOT FOREVER! CFPB link : XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Copy and pasted response from NetCredit. On XX/XX/2021, at XXXX XXXX, XXXX wrote : Thank you for choosing NetCredit, America 's trusted online lender. This email is to confirm that your concerns have been reviewed by our Final Resolution Team. After a careful review of your account and information available to us, our records indicate that you raised concerns that you wanted your information to be removed from our database. After further review, we regret to inform you that due to the XXXX Equal Credit Opportunity Act, we are required by law to retain a record of any customer information submitted to us as well as the status of each application received. Our records indicate that we have processed your request to opt/out your account and a email was sent XX/XX/2021 advising you of this information. In addition, NetCredit will not share your personal information with any affiliates and non affiliates of NetCredit. Rest assured that we take data security and privacy very seriously and safeguard all information that we obtain.
