This fraudulent company called XXXX is illegally reporting on my credit reports. I've reached out to them about this account numerous of times asking for the signed lease documentation and have received nothing. I reached out to the supposed apartment complex who says I co-signed on a lease in XXXX GA. I have never lived in XXXX GA nor have I signed a lease. They claimed during the pandemic I vacated my lease. I've never been in XXXX and nor do I know anyone in XXXX. I am taking legal action against this debt collector who has given me different stories many of times. This collector had the wrong social security number and when they called me I gave them my correct social and they claimed it was an error and then they started reporting on my credit. I gave them my social to prove it wasn't me and not for them to add the debt to my report. I've lived at my texas address for almost 8 years now and my credit report shows exactly that. This is not a case of stolen identity this is a case of this debt collection agency putting the bad debt on my name because someone has my exact same name. I've dealt with this issue before with another debt and they were able to find the correct person. When I called XXXX they told me to pay 30 % of the debt and they'll remove it and I don't see why I need to pay anything because it's not mine and the opportunities I am missing due this on my report is great.
