Complaint against Santander Bank. Mortgage/insurance division. On XX/XX/XXXX I called my home insurance agent to ask about what is covered in my policy since I had a flooding incident due to Hurricane Ida. To my surprise the Safety insurance agent informed me that my policy was canceled due to no payment. To my knowledge I had an escrow account that was handling the home insurance and property taxes. I first made sure that the insurance agency sent the bill and the cancellation notice ( attached below ). I further contact the insurance agent and they confirmed that the bill was sent to the right address while santander bank insurance manager was on a recorded line. The Mangers from Santander bank had two solutions for me : 1- I should buy a policy from them that is {$2900.00} which is twice what I was paying and it only covers the outside house not the inside. 2- I have to go on my own and shop around for home insurance and call them. Now my home is in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MA and it is worth almost {$800000.00} and as of today I do not have any home insurance because my mortgage bank said they didnt get the bill even if the insurance agent confirmed that they received it. Plus I have some flood damage claim that no one is willing to talk about since the policy was cancelled. Please help with a quick and fast resolution
