XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX To Whom It May Concern, I am disputing the following account : XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX I dispute the High Credit amount {$15000.00} I dispute the date of opened XX/XX/2017 ALSO you are in violations of the following sections of the FCRA . 5. Indication of dispute by consumer. If a consumer reporting agency is notified pursuant to section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) [ 1681s-2 ] that information regarding a consumer who was furnished to the agency is disputed by the consumer, the agency shall indicate that fact in each consumer report that includes the disputed information. This was never added to Equifax credit report which is clearly a violation. 6. In general. If a person has requested a consumer report relating to a consumer from a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 ( p ), the request includes an address for the consumer that substantially differs from the addresses in the file of the consumer, and the agency provides a consumer report in response to the request, the consumer reporting agency shall notify the requester of the existence of the discrepancy. ( ii ) promptly notify the furnisher of that information that the information has been modified or deleted from the file of the consumer I have requested on two previous occasions to have the above mentioned credit account to be investigated which was completed with the inaccurate item remaining. This is a violation 1. a notice that, if requested by the consumer, a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available ; I respectfully request a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information I am disputing. I also was not able to location an address for the above mentioned creditor ; XXXX on your credit report which is a violation. 2. Notification of consumer dispute in subsequent consumer reports. When- ever a statement of a dispute is filed, unless there is reasonable grounds to believe that it is frivolous or irrelevant, the consumer reporting agency shall, in any subsequent report containing the information in question, clearly note that it is disputed by the consumer and provide either the con- sumers statement or a clear and accurate codification or summary thereof. I have included a copy of your report that does not indicate that I have disputed this account and the accuracy of the information being reported which is a violation. 1. Duty to provide notice of dispute. If the completeness or accuracy of any information furnished by any person to any consumer reporting agency is disputed to such person by a consumer, the person may not furnish the information to any consumer reporting agency without notice that such information is disputed by the consumer.
