I have used the American Express XXXX XXXX Back card for about 10 years. Over that time, I built up substantial rewards, about {$1200.00}. Over the course of the last 3 months, I have tried mightily to redeem this amount. I have spoken with customer service 8 times over the last 3 months, with each call lasting over half an hour. Every time we speak, they say they will issue the credit without any problem. And every time they do not.
