I HAVE ALWAYS TRIED TO CALL WELLS FARGO AND WORK WITH THEM WHEN IT COMES TO FEES AND OVERDRAFTS. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC AND CONSUMERS ARE TRYING TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET ETC ETC. HAVING OVERDRAFT PROTECTION CAN BE HELPFUL SOMETIMES, BUT A CONSUMER LIKE ME TRIES TO BE MINDFUL ABOUT HOW I USE IT ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE FEES DO ADD UP AND WELLS FARGO IS NOT VERY FORGIVING WITH THAT. AGAIN BEING THAT WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC, IT COMES IN HANDY AND I DO NOT MIND PAYING IF I DID USE IT AND IT IS REPORTED CORRECTLY. RECENTLY THOUGH I TRAVELED OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND PRIOR, I CONTACTED WELLS FARGO BY GOING INTO ONE OF THEIR LOCATIONS IN XXXX TEXAS TO INQUIRE ABOUT PURCHASES EUROS, I WAS TOLD I HAD TO DO IT A WEEK IN ADVANCE BEFORE TRAVELLING WHICH I DID NOT KNOW, I THEN CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INFORM THEM I WAS TRAVELING AND TO NOTED MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I WILL BE USING MY CARD, SHE INFORMED ME I CAN USE MY CARD BUT DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE FEES I WILL BE CHARGED. WHILE OVERSEAS I STARTED NOTICING MULTIPLE INTERNATIONAL FEES BOTH CARD TRANSACTIONS AND ATM TRANSACTIONS. WHEN I RETURNED I CONTACTED WELLS FARGO AND NOTIFIED THEM OF WHAT I WAS TOLD AND ALL THEY SAID WAS THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT AND NEVER GOT BACK TO ME AND STILL CHARGED ME WITH FEES. WELLS FARGO ALSO CHARGED ME SEVERAL OVERDRAFT FEES 3 FOR MULTIPLE TRANSACTIONS THAT WWAS NEVER POSTED FOR A XXXX XXXX THAT WAS NEVER SENT. I ALSO CAME BACK TO MY CARD BEING USED FRAUDULENT MADE A COMPLIANT AND MY MONEY NOT REFUNDED. I HAVE DIRECT DEPOSITS FROM SEVERAL JOBS COMING TO MY ACCOUNT ABOUT EVERY WEEK, BUT I REFUSE TO PAY UNNECESSARY AND UNFAIR FEES. EVERY TIME I CALL TO DISPUTE FEES THEY ASK ME TO TUEN OFF THE OVERDRAFT PROTECTION, MEANWHILE, THEY COULD BE REASONABLE AND MINDFUL OF THE FEES THEY CHARGE CONSUMERS. WEREN'T THEY RECENTLY IN THE MEDIA FOR FRAUDULENT PRATICES? ALL AM ASKING FOR IS FOR UNDERSTANDING DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES AND FOR THEM TO WORK WITH ME, I USUALLY DON'T MIND PAYING THESE FEES BUT THIS TIME IT IS OUT OF HAND, ESPECIALLY SINCE I FEEL I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE INTERNATIONAL FEES AND THAT I TRAVELED WHICH INTURNED CUASD ME TO BE SHORT ON FUNDS.
