XXXX made a XXXX purchase ( CA ), with affirm and returned items a couple days later. XXXX continued to charge. I didnt pay. XXXX issued me a {$.00} refund. The total was {$2500.00}. I have disputed, failed. They say the info is accurate. A few months later, they sell the debt to XXXX. They marked my credit as a charge off. I called because that has precluded me from buying a home. I called affirm yesterday, spoke with XXXX in XXXX XXXX ( what I was told ). I asked for a manager, I was told I have to call back and ask for one, then she said shes the manager, then she said no one is here. I never received ANY letter stating they are charging it off ( XX/XX/XXXX ). XXXX told me that its my responsibility to police XXXX. How? I made the returns, the erroneously issued the credit for {$.00} instead of {$2500.00}. XXXX said I returned {$.00} worth of stuff. Thats wrong. So XXXX said that affirm says its valid. Now I can not buy a home. My credit is pristine. I will not pay for something I returned. {$2500.00} is a lot of money. This is nuts. I was denied access to affirm leadership, I asked that XXXX please send an email stating the account is not in their possession, denied again. I need this CHARGE OFF removed please. She is aware I have XXXX XXXX children and we do not collect ANY government help. I need to buy a home! I found it and now I can not finance it because of them.
